Description
Independently owned, Glenfiddich is the largest single malt whisky seller in the world. The first to market and sell their whisky as single malt whisky back in the 1960’s when blends dominated the world market, they started a trend that has no signs of slowing down. Glenfiddich shows no intention of resting on their laurels. In November 2014, the brand’s core range was redesigned and this whisky now includes “Small Batch Reserve” on the label. Their 18 year old expression has been aged in both Oloroso Sherry Casks and Bourbon casks; ‘tis a fine example of a marriage between the two.

TASTING NOTES
“If ever there was a whisky that brings to mind “liquid fruitcake”, this is it. The dried candied fruits, ginger, vanilla, baking spices and toffee just screams “fruitcake” from the top of the highest mountain. In fact, if you happen to get one for the holidays, do yourself and family a favor and pour a glass or two on top of the cake for a lovely treat.”
