Description
The Signature is created with whiskies with 14-30 years of age that are blended and then aged in oak barrels to marry. At its heart is 27 year old Aberfeldy, a single malt distillery located in the Highlands. The packaging must be noted as the box this bottle comes in is sturdy and coffin like with a gorgeously shaped bottle snuggled inside. Note: This was discontinued in fall 2017 and replaced with Dewar’s 25 Year The Signature.

COMPRISED OF BOTH SINGLE MALT(S) AND SINGLE GRAIN(S) OFTEN FROM MANY DIFFERENT DISTILLERIES; IF SCOTCH OR IRISH MUST BE AGED FOR AT LEAST THREE YEARS IN OAK BARRELS; IRISH MAY INCLUDE SINGLE POT STILL WHISKEY IN THE BLEND.

“If anything is Dewar’s signature, it’s honey. This bottling has it in spades. The texture is chewy and also includes berries, vanilla cream, and chocolate. Kudos to their former Master Blender, Tom Aitken for creating this blend.”
