Description
Ballantine’s was founded by George Ballantine, a son of a farmer who set up shop in the big city back in 1827. What began as a humble grocery store in Edinburgh, Scotland became one of the most recognized whisky blending empires in the industry. This blended expression is comprised of both malt and grain whiskies from distilleries all over Scotland, many that are no longer in existence. Each component of this very old Scotch has aged for at least 30 years in oak casks before being bottled at 40% ABV.
